Hi, I’m Corey and my journey into holistic healing has been one of both growth and transformation, shaped by personal challenges and professional milestones. My path began in esthetician school, where I wasn’t entirely sure what direction I’d take, but I was always drawn to holistic, natural approaches to health. This curiosity led me to the Wellspring School for Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon, where I enrolled in the Amma Therapy program—a two-year training that integrated both Western sciences, and holistic bodywork practices rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). During this time, I also discovered the healing power of herbal formulas, and my interest in plants and their natural remedies grew.

In 2019, I began formal herbal studies in Eugene, OR, and started creating my own herbal products—body butters, salves, lip balms, and more.  Soon after this led me to Missouri, where my ancestral roots are and here, I began to build Vibrant Spruce Herbals, combining my knowledge of bodywork and herbalism into a business that supports holistic health.

A pivotal moment in my career came in October 2024 when I completed my Craniosacral Therapy certification through the Heartwood Institute for Integrative Medicine in Minnesota. I had been traveling to for workshops while living in Missouri, and completing this certification was a major achievement for me. It expanded my ability to help clients find relief from trauma, stress, and chronic pain, and nervous system support through gentle, energy-based touch.

Just a couple of months later, in December 2024, my life changed forever with the sudden loss of my husband, Chance. He was not only my life partner but also my right-hand man in building this business. Losing him was devastating, and adjusting to life and business without him has been one of the hardest challenges I’ve faced. Despite the grief, I have carried forward the lessons he taught me about resilience, passion, and dedication to our shared vision for Vibrant Spruce Herbals.

Through this period of mourning, I’ve found a renewed sense of purpose. The healing practices I offer have been a lifeline for me, and I’ve channeled this strength into my work. Whether through massage therapy, Craniosacral therapy, or my herbal products, I am committed to helping others find balance and healing in their own lives.

As I continue to evolve in my practice, I’m excited to announce that I’ve recently launched herbal consultations as a new offering. After years of studying herbalism and creating my own products, I’m now ready to expand my services to help clients with personalized herbal guidance. Whether you're seeking natural remedies for common ailments or looking for ways to support your overall well-being, I’m here to create a tailored plan using the power of plants.

Since this is a brand-new service for me, I want to make it as accessible as possible while I continue to practice and refine my skills. For the first few months, I’m offering herbal consultations on a sliding scale. This means you can pay what feels fair based on your budget, which allows me to gain the hands-on experience I need to become truly great at this new avenue of healing.
